Sarasota has one of the longest continuously running race sites in the world, and is known as the “Indy 500” for Super Boat Racing. Captain Keith Colburn and Deckhand Travis Lofland were on hand for all the festivities that included a Welcome Reception presented by Lakewood Ranch Communities, Festival Parade of Boats, Meet and Greet Who’s In The Driver’s Seat autograph session, and the “Friendliest Catch” Fishing Tournament for the physically and mentally challenged.

Capt. Keith was on board the Official Pace Boat during Sunday’s Race dropping the green flag for over 46 race teams and handing out the checkered flag to all the winning teams. He also took part in the Awards Ceremony. CBS Sports covered the Festival and Race and will be airing a one hour special this Fall.
