Capt. Keith Colburn recently attended the Grand Opening of NYY Steak and Hard Rock Café Yankee Stadium as a Special Guest. Many other celebrities and well known entertainers were on hand at the Grand Opening, including former NY Yankee Center Fielder Bernie Williams.

NYY Steak recently made its debut as a luxury restaurant and bar with steaks and specialty entrees served in an elegant setting, tucked inside the New Yankee Stadium. NYY Steak may be the finest restaurant at any ball park in America. As such, it already rivals many of New York’s best steak restaurants.

Open during both game days and non-game days, NYY Steak is a joint venture of the New York Yankees, LLC and Seminole Hard Rock Entertainment, parent company of Hard Rock Cafe. The new steak restaurant is the first under the NYY Steak brand, although it follows and is based on the wildly successful Council Oak steak restaurants at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos in Tampa and Hollywood, Florida.

The restaurant’s décor pays homage to the New York Yankees, the world’s most successful and legendary baseball team. Backlit bronze panels known as “Signature Walls” repeat throughout the restaurant and display the autographs of 86 Yankees team members, including baseball gods like Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Mickey Mantle.
