Melissa,
Welcome aboard! I had to laugh at your "tongue tied" comment. I had that exact reaction when I met Mike Rowe! Actually, I wish I had just kept my mouth shut because the unintelligible drivel that was coming out was embarrassing me far more than if I had simply kept my big mouth shut! Glad you got a chance to meet the guys. :)
Again, welcome to the boards, and Cheers!

Hello Captain Keith and Captain Monte
Hugs from Northern Nevada! :) I met you guys this past weekend at the Silver Legacy Casino in Reno, NV and what an honor. I was so star-strucked and tongue tied (not typical of me). Thank you Keith for the kiss on the head and Monte for that awesome compliment you wrote on my autographed picture. I've been glowing every since :). Awesome to hear you all will be on season 7 of Deadliest Catch and always you and the whole crew will be in my prayers for a safe and productive season. Enjoy the rest of your summer

I just wanted to tell you that your tribute to Capt. Phil Harris on last nights episode of Deadliest Catch touched me the most.

Just dropping a line from Indiana to thank you for all that you are trying to do for the gulf. Anything that can be done is greatly appreciated. And that saying of yours definately is true. It's not a magic, just hard work. I just wish more people adopted that philosophy. Enough rambling, thanks again for all you guys do.

Found this program one night last year and to my luck it was a all night rerun. Guess what, stay up all that night and have continued to be a fan. I have never seen such hard work in my life. My husband and I say a prayer everytime we eat crab for all of you : )
If you ever need a cook, let me know I'm great and don't get sea sick!

Keith and Monte,

I met your dad this evening in Plymouth while he was standing at his truck outside your grandparents/parents home. I was walking with my family from a restaurant down the street to our car. We had admired the home earlier and I saw your dad, with a little paint on him and a truck with some items that looked like he had been working on the house. There were a couple of ladders near the house and we assumed it had been painted recently.

I asked your dad if he had been working on the house. He told us the history, about the architecture, the playhouse, all of the updates, and about his sons. He is obviously proud of you two. Your dad told us about the website, "The Deadliest Catch," Sunset Magazine article, recipes and an upcoming adventure.

Anyhow, I thought since I found your website I'd share the incident.

The house looks beautiful.

My husband and I love the show. The loss of Phil came while we were in the hospital, ourselves. We hope the sparks with you and Johnathan are more for show than real. Blessings to you, your crew and all the families. We look forward to watching all the new episodes!

God be with you~

We never miss a show and the Wizard is my favorite. I work for a small grocery chain in eastern Washington and ordered crab from the Crab Broker late last year.I was over the top when the crabs catch vessel was the Wizard.I had to call and tell Dustin. Thank You for the glimpse into your work and be safe.

By far the best boat on the show. I admire your passion and appauled your effort to make peace with that clown. You are the much bigger man. Sail on, sailor.

Hi from Southern California!!! I just wanted to say that I totally admire, respect, and appriciate what you men of sea do out there so we can have crab legs. You literally risk your lives and thats admirable. My Dad too is Captain on a persaner vessel and fishes for tuna canneries. Though he is gone 9-10 months out of the year and out of Ecuador, which in no way compares to the Bering Sea. At first I was picking favorites and something about 2009 crab season captured my heart, maybe it was Crosby Leveen,at first, but then all the trials and tribulations Wizard went through, well lets just say you hold a special place in my heart. THANKS FOR ALLOWING US TO HAVE A VISUAL OF YOUR EPIC ADVENTURES!!!!!! GOOD LUCK WITH THE FUTURE and wishing you all the very best.

Captain Keith,
It was truly a pleasure to meet you at the Heart Attack Grill.....
Funny I drive 1900 miles From Minnesota to go to work in Phoenix and get to run into you.....at lunch
Never ever heard of a celebrity introducing himself to a fan before ..You are so cool....The guys at work asked what you were like, I said he seems just like an average hard working Joe, even though your guy's work is way,way above average
Thanks for taking a minute for a picture......
The last words I said to you when I shook your hand I meant...we use it often in our line of work also....
STAY SAFE
