Hello Everyone,
We're preparing the Wizard for the trip north, and the crew is in the ship yard hard at it.
Coming back this season Keith, Monte, Soper, Lenny, and Crosby.

Nick is working on going to school, and his shoulder while up to the rigors of desk work is probably not quite ready for the Bering Sea. I know he's bummed, but he'll be back on board.

Art is busy in about 50 different things, and excelling in all. The current Puget Sound salmon season is keeping him from fishing red crab, but he's part of the crew, and will return at some point.

Dave, who you haven't seen on the tube, but has been a part of the crew for 8 years, and a good friend (and nemesis) for a lot longer is busy fishing halibut, and could return for snow crab.

New to the crew for the red crab season are Lynn, and Jason.

I hope we aren't breaking any hearts out there, but Guy upon last word was pre-occupied in a correctional facility on the east coast, and unavailable.
The one trip wonder (actually less) was not invited to return.

Sounds like you have a good crew! Of course I'm glad to see a lot of the old crew back, especially Crosby! I hate we won't be seeing Art or Nick, but I know they're both occupied with other things...for now. I hope you have a great season and that we see you on season 4!!!

Why is Monte's nickname "mouse?" He doesn't seem to be the quietest or the shortest.

LOL Capt. Keith...I'm not mad at allllll. I think the mystery is intriguing!!!!!!! I am just THRILLED to know that the Wizard will be back making magic happen on the bering sea!

Welcome back, everyone!

I know this is a VERY late post as I'm a newbie and all but Guy in a correctional facility?! Well at least he's out of your hair. You have had an amazing assortment of whinners on your boat. Guy was one and Moi, or whatever his name is, has to be the worst I've seen on any boat so far. The Northwestern had one last year, he's returned this year on that vessel, Jake, but he was playing to the camera somewhat and those guys didn't tolerate it. They showed him real quick how good he had it by taking away the hydraulics and conveyor. He learned not to flip his yip about every little thing after that. I understand that these guys get a whole new hurt going but complaining about it out loud doesn't endear you to anyone and won't take away the pain. A little is ok but geeze!

TVann....I am pretty sure that DC film crews are interviewing everyone as they crab....so , not that anyone is whinning per say, it's just that they are answering the questions posed to them at the time by the film crew.If they were not being filmed for this awesome docudrama of real life crabbin as it happens, I am sure these greenhorns wouldn't be sayin a word about it. Just me opinion on it......like Capt Keith has stated before...." they don't want the "interview when it's dead calm" . The film crew probably posed the question to Moi as to how he was feeling and Moi answered their question. We have to remember when they speak to the camera, it's because they were asked a question by film crew.

Keith.. The name sounded familuar. North Tahoe is a small area. You guys, growing up in Brockway, were friends with my kids, Michael Greg & Dana Kelly. We are still at the Lake and enjoy the show. Keep up the good work. Stay safe !!!! Anies little brother Frankenberg ??? Is he still around ???
