Ok, he may be a whinner but I don't know if I could've done what James had to do to his fingernail last night! Capt'n Keith and Monty have been pretty patient with him on this trip but I do think he's in over his head. I hope he can hold it together. The other kid seems to really be working out well though, so far.

It will be interesting to see what happens next Tuesday.

Ann, I think you mean Jason. Ok, I'm no wuss, really, but that "crunch, squirt!" yeah, I shrieked like a little girl. It was just so unexpected...the sound, oh the sound!!!! That was a pretty beastly move...sheesh, you guys out there on the sea..."hey I've got a tooth to pull, grab the pliers." "Hmm, finger's swollen, I guess I'll just shove this hot poker through my fingernail..."

Yep, next Tuesday looks pretty hardcore!

"Crunch, Squirt...squirt squirt!!" I watched that episode again on my DVR today and thought of you grossing out Lhiiiz!

What was wrong with his fingernail anyway? (Yes I realize it was green, but what made it green?)

Eek, I've had this happen a couple of times to fingers and toes. To the question of why it was green, he was bleeding under the fingernail, which caused it to swell up so badly. The color is really more of a purple LOL. You have to punch a hole in the nail before the bleeding stops in order to relieve the pressure. If you don't, it throbs like a toothache for days. Either way, you lose the nail. Unfortunately, there is no painless way to do it. A doctor tried injecting something into a toe of mine to numb it before punching the hole in it. The dang shots hurt worse than the punch!

I've never had that happen to me before, and I hope to God it never will! The sound effects alone from that episode are enough to turn my stomach! Yikes!

I'm with you ShirleyGirly-the sound effects about made me puke! It was bad enough watching it--but to "hear" it too?!?!?! It was almost too much. But yet---when the repeat came on, I just couldn't seem to either turn my head or turn the volume down! HAHAHAHA

Ok..now I want to hurl!

Soo i pulled a Moi today whist i was working with some rocks. dang finger got caught in between a rock and the bucket of the backhoe and YIKES!!!!!! so unluckily i didnt have a needle or anything at work so i had to use my friends pocket knife!!!! YIKES YIKES YIKES!!!!! ummm crunch ooze doesnt even begin to describe it! but feels good. lol. hurts less now than the nail i stepped on today does. hehe. so hope you are all having a wonderful day and only one more day until the new epi!!!!
