I hear the wheather is rough up North. Sending Prayers for everyone and every boat for their safety. They all are professionals at what they do, but they can use all the help they can get.....even if it is Prayers for their guidance , a quick season, prosperity, and above all, safety. I don't know how they do it...I can't even fathom how their Families do it. Blessings to you all.

The ice has moved down early this year and is reeking havoc on the fishing grounds. I hope things clear enough for some fishing Woasiss!

Yeah, I saw a vid on the Wizard trying to get into the harbor. Did not look like fun. A lot of ice and wind...I tell ya, the Alaskans and crabbers are one tough people to live up and work up there in such extreme conditions! Bless them! We had a small earthquake(tremor) last nite around the Kenosha area in Wisc. Not much to squak about compared to what they go thru up Nort. It was 51 degrees here today and snow was melting quickly. I will take melting snow over earthquaks and bitter cold, blowing, icey, snowfall anyday! Ya'll be safe up there!

Hi all, first post from me so please treat me gently! I am an avid DC and Wizard fan, living in the UK. I saw on the CM facebook page that many of the boats have had to suspend fishing due to the ice coming down on the fishing grounds. I take it that the Wizard has done the same and is in a harbour?

Hello Val and welcome aboard!!! I assume Wizard has done the same. Sounds like a lot of ice up there. Let us just hope and Pray that things clear and they all can get back to what they do best...crabbin!
